MekTek Solutions is an Ottawa-based computer hardware and consulting business that was founded in March 2003. It specializes in computer systems, for both home and business for a range of needs, including gaming, rendering, Internet, workstation, productivity, and servers. Originally founded by Carleton University students, the company has now expanded to bring together the talents of graduates from many different fields, expanding its products and services into networking, database maintenance and merging, disaster recovery planning, security, custom needs assessment and more.
